Level Overview
Level A1 Intensiv
Course Duration: 8 Weeks
Format: Zoom
It all starts here! The essential foundation course to learning German. The goal of this level is to get you accustomed to the German language and to get you to start speaking simple sentences, for e.g: ordering a coffee at Starbucks or your favorite coffee shop, asking for directions, buying train tickets, making a friend and much more.
Level A2 Intensiv
Course Duration: 8 Weeks
Format: Zoom
Your journey continues. In this level, as your confidence builds, you will start to build more complex sentences. You will be able to express your wishes, your thoughts and opinions with more clarity. Additionally, you will begin to enjoy some online videos, movies, television serials and perhaps start reading some magazines? Who knows!
Level B1 Intensiv
Course Duration: 10 Weeks
Format: Zoom
This is where it gets a little serious. The jump in technicality is clearly felt. A lot of grammar kicks in. This level will get you to start speaking and writing German with a certain degree of grammatical accuracy. You will finally begin to sound a little more German. But the journey does not end here!
Level B2.1 Intensiv
Course Duration: 12 Weeks
Format: Zoom
So this level is where you start enjoying full length German feature films, interviews etc. with German sub-titles. Speaking with a certain degree of fluency is no longer a task as in previous levels. You will be able to participate in meetings, conversations, friendly banter and more. Keep going though, it only gets better!
Level B2.2 Intensiv
Course Duration: 12 Weeks
Format: Zoom
You are almost there! By the end of this level, German sub-titles should be optional - You should be able to understand at least 75% of the movie or a complex conversation. The sense of satisfaction of being able to actively participate in a conversation is tangible. And by the way, I don't think you will have a problem with that Job Interview. Good luck with it!

Meine Reise begann mit Deutsch bei David von A1 bis B2. Ich habe mir viele Kurse angesehen und seinen gewählt, weil er perfekt war! DMD ist nicht wie andere, es ist besser. Ich wollte nicht nur Deutsch lernen, sondern auch die Aussprache wie die Deutschen und das zu einem guten Preis. Die Wochenendkurse sind lang, aber machbar und unterhaltsam, weil David den Unterricht interaktiv gestaltet! Selbststudium ist wichtig, aber Deutschlernen mit David ist hilfreich, weil man Lehrbuchinhalte lernt und übt und motiviert ist, weiter zu lernen. Seine Kurse sind großartig für Anfänger!

Ich habe Deutsch kurs von A1 bis B1 von David gemacht und es ist viel hilfreich in Deutschland im Alltag. David ist ein toller Lehrer und er hat seinen eigenen Unterrichtstil. Languages are a window to another world. One of the first foreign languages I learnt was German, way back in the early nineties as a Hotel Management student in Switzerland. Never did I imagine that 30 years on, I would be teaching this amazing language.
Post my (early) retirement as an Offshore Marine Engineer, I've been involved in teaching German and Business English to anyone with a strong desire to Stand Out from the crowd and be noticed. My teaching style is very interactive and immersive. Remember, Speaking a language requires Confidence.
